Morrells Lightfast Stain
Morrells Light Fast Stain approx £10.00 inc for 1 Ltr
A spirit based stain suitable for spray, dip and hand application. Formulated to provide excellent grain definition and depth of colour on all wooden substrates including floors. This range can be used to tint Morrells Precatalyst and Acid Catalyst lacquers up to a maximum of 5% by volume.
• Fast Drying (10 mins)
• Available in 28 colours
• Enhances wood grain.
• Touch dry in 2 hours.
• Coverage 8 sq. mtrs per 1 ltr
What we say..
Have used this stain for years, Its by far not the easiest to use, Two people are required, working with wet edges, however if your looking for a nice deep colour such as wenge, then this is for you. We make our wenge up with this and a colour we call darker Oak, Use meths to thin the colour out and add other colours to enrichen.
Prep has to be spot on as this stain is very unforgiving, shows any bad sanding off to the max.
Not for beginners, but enables deep colouring while still showing the grain.
